We're happy to announce that the lovely Dot (big brown girl) found a home a short time ago. After just over 4 years spent with us she has gone to join another former Horse Rescue graduate called Barney (chubby little paint pony). He was very happy to see her, having lost his friend several weeks prior. Many thanks to Dot's new family for giving her a home.
Dot is a stunning looking, friendly mare, who is OK to catch, worm, farrier and handle. She can be a bit pushy at times and needs a firm hand on the ground. She is broken in, but hasn't been ridden for many years, so would possibly be best suited as a companion horse. Dot would need a very experienced horseperson. She does suffer from poor feet which we have our farrier keep an eye on.
