Archer

Say hello to our April Horse, Archer.

He is a 20 year old thoroughbred gelding of about 16.2 hands. He was left at a property with his friend Flynn and unfortunately his owner became uncontactable. The owner of the property turned to HRA for help and surrendered Archer and Flynn to us at the end of 2019. Archer is a lovely big fellow, friendly, well-mannered and easy to handle. We have been told that he is an ex-eventer. He has been steadily gaining weight since arrival and has settled in well with the herd. We are curious to see how he goes under saddle with our trainer, but for the time being we are concentrating on improving his condition before commencing any work with him.
