All the horses HRA take in stay with us for a period of assessment and rehabilitation before being put up for adoption. Some horses, due to physical or psychological trauma, need to stay with us for a substantial amount of time, which can be a very costly exercise. Due to age or ill health some of our residents will remain with HRA for the rest of their life. Sponsors are needed to help with the care of all horses and ponies until they are placed in a caring adoption home. There are three tiers of sponsorship available, depending on the individual horse’s needs.
