Volunteer Days & Working with the Horses

Horses enjoying a groom on volunteer day.

We hold volunteer days every second month at our property at 465 Tizzana Road, Ebenezer, from 10am till 1pm (no bookings required). Usually we give all the horses a much needed groom and clean up, and also do a little bit of “poo patrol” (occasionally there are other tasks to be done). Mostly it is just a nice day spent in the company of the horses and other like minded people. We supply morning tea and cold drinks, but please bring any food you require.

When the temperature gets up towards 40 degrees its really no fun for people or horses, so we may very occasionally need to cancel. If you intend coming to a volunteer day and the weather is particularly hot please just check back here or our FB page before leaving home in case we have had to cancel.
