Volunteering
Unfortunately we are not in a position to take on regular volunteers, either during the week or on weekends due to the lack of availability of committee members to supervise. We also are not in the position to take on 'live in' volunteers either short or long term as we do not have the facilities to cater for them.
Volunteer Days

We hold regular volunteer days for members of the public at our property at 220 Crooked Lane, North Richmond, NSW from 10am until 1pm. Children are welcome under the careful supervision of a responsible parent or guardian. Usually we give all the horses a much needed groom and clean up, and also do a little bit of 'poo patrol' and perhaps a little weeding. Occasionally there are other tasks to be done. Mostly it is just a nice day spent in the company of the horses and other like minded people. We supply morning tea and cold drinks, but please bring any food you require.
When the temperature gets up towards 40 degrees or the weather is stormy it's really no fun for people or horses, so we may occasionally need to cancel. If you intend coming to a volunteer day and the weather is particularly hot or stormy please just check our FB page before leaving home in case we have had to cancel.
New Volunteers
If you are a NEW volunteer planning to attend for the FIRST time you are required to complete and submit the Volunteer Registration Form (below). Please complete a separate form for each person planning on attending (both adults and children).
New and Existing Volunteers
If you intend to come to an upcoming volunteer day, please click the icon to email us and let us know the number of adults and children attending so we can better plan the day. We would prefer a week's notice if possible. Thank you.

Health and Safety
- Closed in shoes must be worn (boots are preferable).
- A hat is a good idea as there is limited shade on the property.

Working Bees
Are held periodically as needed so watch this space if you'd like to help with gardening, rubbish clean up, minor building works, fencing repairs, etc.
From time to time we will alert our volunteers to help needed at market stalls, selling raffle tickets, cooking BBQ's, etc. Any time you can spare on these occasions will be most appreciated.
